Dr. Baldeo has spent over 20 years practicing medicine and is licensed in both the states of New York and Florida. He would like to give back to the next generation of medical doctors with this scholarship fund.
The Dr. Philip Baldeo Scholarship announces our $1,000 scholarship fund geared towards university students who are on the journey to become medical doctors, and high school students who plan to study medicine in college. Enter our essay contest below to apply.
In order to apply, the student should be a current student at a university in the United States who is currently in medical school, pre-med or high school students that will attend university and plans to study medicine.
We will award the scholarship to the winner of our essay contest. We will select a single winner based on a creative essay of under 1000 words answering the following:
“Describe a problem in the world that can be helped by an improvement in medicine. How would you use your position as a medical doctor to help the issue?”
One time award of $1,000
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is November 15, 2021.
The winner for the scholarship will be announced December 15, 2022.
