Scholarship for Future Medical Doctors

The Dr. Philip Baldeo Scholarship for Future Medical Doctors provides scholarship funding for students who are on the journey to become a medical doctor. The scholarship is open to university students who are currently studying to become a doctor, or high school students who plan to attend a university to prepare for medical school. The winner of our essay contest will be awarded the scholarship funding of $1,000

Who is it for?

The Dr. Philip Baldeo Scholarship was created for students who want to make a difference in the world by becoming a medical doctor. Dr. Baldeo has spent many years practicing as a medical doctor, with current licenses in both Florida and New York, and he knows the struggles that students face on their long road to become physicians. Dr. Baldeo understands the pressures both financially and educationally on students to succeed, and he would like to give back to the next generation of physicians.

Dr. Baldeo is a medical doctor who specializes in family medicine, and is licensed to practice in both New York and Florida. He is currently located in South Richmond Hill, New York, where he is affiliated with several local hospitals. He has his MD from the University of the West Indies Faculty of Medical Sciences.
